Willie Clyde Joyner, 91, of Tavares, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013. Born in Vandall, Arkansas, he moved to Tavares in 1997 from Memphis, Tennessee. He was retired at a 30 year career with the US Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. Bill was a member of First Baptist Church, Tavares; life member of the VFW of West Memphis, AR; he loved fishing and working with his hands, building things. He is survived by his wife, Betty L. Joyner, Tavares, FL; 4 sons, Willie C. Joyner, Jr., Dyersburg, TN, James T. (Vickie) Joyner, Memphis, TN, Glen A. (Barbara) Joyner, Hernando, MS, John F. Joyner, South Haven, MS; 2 step-daughters, Elizabeth (Mike) Aho, Kingsland, GA, Darlene Hall, Lawton, OK; brother, James Alan Joyner, Peoria, IL; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Doris Richards and step-son-in-law, Randy Hall. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 6:00 PM.
