William E. (Bill) Gore, 86, of Eustis passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013. He moved to Lake County, FL in 1989 from Newbury, OH. Mr. Gore was born at Bainbridge, OH and was a professional Truck Driver with Manfredi Motor Transit of Newbury for over 20 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, was of the Protestant Christian Faith, and was a former member of the Newbury Volunteer Fire Department and the Newbury American Legion Post. Bill was an active member of the National Rifle Association and delighted in teaching children the game of bowling in Lake County for over 15 years. Mr. Gore is survived by his wife of 61 years Marilyn J. Potter Gore of Eustis; two sons: Larry Lee (Cathy) Gore of Stow, OH and William Lee Gore of Florida; Sister: Jerrie Hill of Newbury, Ohio; and one grandson: Jason Lee Gore of Brooklyn, NY.
