William G. VanHassel

William G. Van Hassel, 98, of Leesburg, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011. Born in Clifton, New Jersey, he moved to Leesburg in 1986 from Eva, Alabama. He was a Butcher and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Eustis. Bill is survived by his 3 sons, George VanHassel, Tavares, FL, Robert VanHassel, Millville, NJ, Raymond VanHassel, Conyers, GA; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Services will be held at First Church of God, Eustis on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Faith Lutheran Church Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to LSF Peppi Head Start, 301 SW 8th Street, Belle Glade, FL 33430.
