William Menendez

William Menendez, 68, of Tavares, Florida passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Born to the late Leonard and Alice (Moore) Menendez in Clarksburg, West Virginia, he moved to Tavares, Florida in 1995 from Brimfield, Ohio. He worked with drywall in construction. William served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He is survived by his loving companion, Mary Sopher of Tavares, FL; son, William J. (Ayla) Menendez of Bunker Hill, WV; 2 daughters, Shannon (Craig) Dunlop of Birmingham, AL, Stephenie L. Menendez of Grand Island, FL; brothers, Dick Menendez of Brimfield, OH; Donnie (Scharee) Menendez of Randolph, OH; sisters, Carolyn (Greg) Luzader of Kent, OH; Mary Menendez of Kent, OH; 2 grandchildren, Dylan, Phynix; nieces and nephews, Brandi, Jennifer, Jamie, Jason, Cory, Bradley, Joey and Frankie.
