William Ronald Christiansen, 69, of Eustis, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022. He was born in Rockville Centre, New York, grew up in Hampton Bays, Long Island then moved to Florida in 1996 from Shirley, New York. Bill was a fearless mechanic and a lover of projects - he could fix anything and took great pride in helping others. He especially loved woodworking and classic cars. He was known for his childlike sense of humor - he loved telling jokes and sharing stories, especially about his adventures with the family pets. Bill loved animals and his beloved dog, Bella, passed only a few hours after he did - we can only imagine that since she followed him everywhere in life, she chose to stay by his side on this final journey. Bill was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Eustis, worked with Grumman Aerospace for 22 years and spent time as a volunteer firefighter in Center Moriches, New York. He was a devoted family man and loved being a Dad and Grandpa above all else. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, June, Eustis, FL; two sons, Devin (Marie) Christiansen, Lake Mary, FL, Daniel (Jennifer) Christiansen, Longwood, FL; father, Ronald Christiansen, Hampton Bays, NY; two brothers, John Christiansen, Hampton Bays, NY, Jim Christiansen, Athens, PA; eight grandchildren - Caleb, Riley, Jace, Ian, Connor, Landon, Kyle, and Charlotte.
