William Jon Brandt, 45, of Leesburg, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Born in Jeannette, Pennsylvania, he moved to Lake County, FL in 1995 from Burbank,CA. He worked in the construction industry as a Lead Builder and was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church of Leesburg. William had learned to play the guitar and his favorite band was Oingo Boingo. He loved Tropical Fish and all animals. He is survived by his Wife, Rebecca Brandt of Leesburg, FL; Father, Warren J. Brandt of Ewa Beach, HI; Mother, Joyce A. Brant of Burbank, CA; Son, William Jon Brandt, II of Leesburg, FL; Daughter, Shanon Nicole Brandt of Leesburg, FL; Brother, Warren James Brandt, III of Burbank, CA; Sisters, Cyndi Latorre of Slaughterville, OK, Melinda Gnasso of Burbank, CA, Christie Brandt of Haleiwa, HI, and Melanie Fugate of Englewood, OH. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Leesburg, on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 8:30 AM.
