Warren Guy Sherwood, 83, was born March 24, 1928 in Walthill , Nebraska to Frank Warren and Clarista Viola Sherwood.
He grew up and attended school in Macy , Nebraska . Warren married Phyllis Johnson August 1, 1950 in Springfield , MO. They lived and raised their 3 children in Nebraska . They resided in Plattsmouth , NE for approximately 20 years. In 1982 they moved to Omaha , NE. He retired from Liberty Gas & Oil in Omaha .
Warren and Phyllis just recently moved to Fruitland Park , FL where he passed away July 3, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, John “Franklin,” sisters, Mary Alyce, Marion “Irene,” Deloris “LaVon” and Charlote “Isabel.”
He is survived by his wife Phyllis, daughter Lorna and Louis Albers of Council Bluffs , IA , David and Debbie Sherwood, Muskogee , OK and Judi and Steve Whitehouse of Fruitland Park , FL. 10 grandchildren, Lou “Tommy,” Michelle, Rita, Jayme, Jeremiah, Scott, Christopher, Sarah, Kiley and Kenny. 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. One brother Amos and one sister Betty.
Warren was a wonderful father and husband. We will miss him.
