Vivan Herrin Pope

Vivian Herrin Pope, 88, of Mount Dora, FL, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Born in Waycross, Georgia, and raised in Barberton, Ohio, she moved to DeLand, Florida, where she met her husband of 54 years, Bernie Pope. His work took them to Georgia, New Mexico, and Texas, They moved to Lake County in 1988 from Houston, TX. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Lake Square Presbyterian Church of Leesburg. Vivian enjoyed working in the yard, reading and solving crossword puzzles, and showering B.B,. her canine companion, with love. Vivian is predeceased by her husband, Burnette Pope. She is survived by Daughter and Son-in-law, Bonnie P. and Jerry Woodberry of Leesburg, FL; Daughter and Son-in-law, Sandy and Tim Conner of Deland, FL; Sister, Phyllis June Herrin and partner, Andy Sewell of Eustis, FL; Grandchildren, Tim Collier, Jenny Wolfe and Erin Wagner; and Great-Grandchildren, Robert Collier, Daryn Wagner, Jack Wolfe, Kate Wagner, and Thomas Wolfe. Services will be held at Lake Square Presbyterian Church, Leesburg on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery, Deland.
