Venizelo John Aleles, 91, of Mount Dora, FL, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Born in New York, New York, he moved to Lake County, FL in 2010 from New Jersey. He served in the United States Army. Venizelo worked and managed ticket sales for major league baseball teams including World Series New York Yankees and New York Mets, National Football League, New York Jets and the undefeated, Miami Dolphins back to back Super Bowl Champions. He was an executive for Broadway Theaters, the Shubert Organization and Jujamcyn Theaters. He was also proprietor and restaurateur of Wally's and Joseph's Restaurant in the heart of Broadway Theaters, New York City. He had a love for horse racing. Venizelo is predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Margaret Ann Aleles. He is survived by his Son, Joseph (Linda) Aleles of Tavares, FL, Daughters, Margaret Aleles ( Uma Tripathi) of Portsmouth, NH, Andrea Aleles (Jeffrey Lelliott) of Wesley Chapel, FL and Diane Crossman of Portsmouth, NH, Brothers, Socrates Aleles of New Jersey and Constantine Aleles of California. 7 Grandchildren, Fallon Crossman Clark, Zachary Crossman, Maxine Crossman, Hadley Crossman, Jessica Aleles, Nicole Aleles Knapp and Victoria Aleles Cooley. 5 Step-Grandchildren - Ashok Tripathi, Daniel Tripathi, Peter Lelliott, Andrew Lelliott and Mathew Lelliott; 1 Great-Grandchild, Jett Clark; 7 Step Great-Grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.
