Velma L. Walls

Velma L. Walls, 78, of Leesburg, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023. Born to the late Thomas & Lizzie (Sanders) Richardson, in Mobile, Alabama, she moved to Lake County as a young child. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lisbon, Florida. Velma attended Altoona Elementary and Umatilla Middle and High Schools. Velma is survived by her brother, John H. Richardson of Leesburg, FL; her sister-in-law, Linda Turner of Jacksonville, FL; 2 nieces and 2 nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy C. Walls, and 3 brothers, Frank Richardson, Leroy Richardson and Gene Richardson. Velma will be laid to rest next to her husband in Ponceannah Cemetery, Paisley, FL.
