Uliana Attard

Uliana Attard, nee Lunardi, age 95, passed away on February 6, 2014 at the Spring Oaks Senior Living Community in Brooksville, FL. She was born in Sant’Anna Pelago, Italy on May 20, 1918 to Luigi and Angelina Lunardi. She immigrated to the U.S.A. in 1949 settling in Highwood, IL where she became a long time resident. Before retiring, she worked as a seamstress for many years. In 1999, she relocated to Brooksville, FL until the time of her death. She is survived by her children, Paul (Cynthia), Peter (Judith) and Rose Muhonen and her twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and her sister Dina Bacci. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pascal; and her sisters and brothers, Maria Sinicato, Mingha Lunardi, Michael Lunardi, Assunta Abbou, and Bruno Lunardi. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 4-7 pm at Kelley and Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Road, Highland Park, IL. A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 10 am at St. James Church, 134 North Avenue, Highwood, IL. Interment will follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums, Libertyville, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Uliana’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
