Tom Cindea

Tom Cindea, 91, of Howey In The Hills, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Born September 4, 1921 in Canton, Ohio to the late Stefan & Euphemia Cindea, Mr. Cindea graduated from Canton McKinley High School in 1939 and from George Washington University , DC in 1964 with a Bachelors Degree. He was a WWII Veteran from 1942-1946, serving in the European Theater. He retired from the US Civil Service after 30 years of combined service. He worked for the Naval Research Laboratory for 10 years and for NOAA for 10 years.Tom moved to Howey In The Hills in 1978 from St. Charles, Maryland and was a member of the Howey in the Hills Men's Club and First United Methodist Church of Tavares. He is survived by his wife, Audrey of Howey-in-the-Hills, 4 brothers, Earl (Jerry) Cindea, Canton, OH, Virgil (Elvera) Cindea, Canton, OH, Emil (Carolyn) Cindea, Canton, OH, Nicholas (Dorenna) Cindea, Canton, OH; sister, Elizabeth (Ray) Jack, Canton, OH; and many nieces & nephews.
