Thomas Ryan

Thomas Ryan, 91, of Leesburg, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018. Born in Wausau, Wisconsin, he moved back to Leesburg in 2018 after living here from 1977-2005. Thomas served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and became a skilled Dye Setter after his time in the service. He was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church of Eustis, FL, the American Legion, his local V.F.W. and the Knights of Columbus. Thomas is survived by his 2 sons, Thomas (Gale) Michael Ryan, Jr. of Mukwonago, WI, and Robert Ryan of Leesburg, FL, his daughter, Colleen (George) Dawson of Montgomery, AL, his brother, Jimmy Ryan of Wausau, WI, along with 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Chapel in Eustis, on Wednesday, July 18th, 2018 at 4:00 PM. Inurnment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
