Thomas C. Hurlbert

Thomas C. Hurlbert, 66, of Leesburg, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016. Born in Emlenton, Pennsylvania, he moved to Leesburg in 2005 after living in Ft Lauderdale since 1972. Thomas served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. In retirement, Thomas gave up his career as an Ironworker, for the breezes and green grass of the fairway and became an avid golfer. He is predeceased by his Parents, Lawrence and Thelma Hurlbert; and Sister, Janet Sutton. Thomas is survived by his Wife of 42 years, Nancy Hurlbert; Sisters - Linda Maxwell of Leesburg, FL, Karen Johnson-Gendron of Inverness, FL, and Lorraine Deiderich of Floral City, FL; Brothers - Larry Hurlbert of Greenacres, FL and Brian Hurlbert of Burlington, VT; and Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Golfing Buddies. A celebration of Thomas will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, his birthday, to share stories and memories, at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
