Thomas E. Evans

Thomas E. Evans, 77, of Eustis, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he moved to Eustis in 1992 from Orlando, FL. He was Union President of UAW Local 788, working with Lockheed Martin prior to his retirement. Thomas served in the U.S. Air Force during Korea and was a member of AMVETS, Moose Lodge and BPOE. He enjoyed fishing hunting ad playing the guitar. Thomas is predeceased by wife, Karen W. Evans; daughter, Sherri Evans; son, Thomas Evans Jr.; and brother, William "Bill" Evans. He is survived by daughters, Terry Lee Evans of Altoona, FL and Jodie Evans-Altman of Deltona, FL; sons, Jeff Allen Evans of Eustis, FL and Jeremy Thomas Evans of Eustis, FL; brother, Franklin James Evans, Baltimore, MD; Sister, Mary Cox of NC and Mabel "Toots" Church of Baltimore, MD; 12 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM.
