Steven Walter Bailey

Steven Walter Bailey, 71, of Mount Dora, FL, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. Steven was born on July 8,1949 in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Raymond & Mary Elizabeth Bailey. He moved to Tavares as a child and lived most of his life in the Lake County area. Steven graduated from Tavares High School class of 1968. He worked many years helping people as a tax preparer. He served his country in the US Navy. Steven was an avid Florida State fan. He enjoyed playing golf and singing karaoke. He is predeceased by his son: David Bailey. Steven is survived by his son: Steven Bailey, of Tucson, AZ; Daughter, Chelsey A. Bailey, of Eustis, FL; Brothers: Alan Bailey, of Deland, FL, Nelson Bailey, of Loxahatchee, FL; Granddaughters: Natalie Sines, of Eustis, FL, Makayla Bailey, of Tuscon, AZ; Grandsons: Kaleb Bailey, of Tuscon, AZ, Liam Bailey, of Tuscon, AZ. Steven was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by many. Graveside services will be held at 10:30am on June 5, 2021, at Tavares Cemetery, Tavares, FL.
