Sig J. Hellstrom

Sig J. Hellstrom, 91, of Howey in the Hills, passed away Friday, February 19, 2010. Born in Tore, Sweden, he moved to Howey in the Hills in 1977 from Chicago, IL. He was an Assistant Traffic Supervisor for International Harvestor Co., was a member of St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis, a member of the VFW Post #8087 of Eustis, FL; and the BPOE #1578 of Eustis, FL. Sig was also the former President of the Howey in the Hills Mens club as well as a former councilman for Howey in the Hills. He served during World War II. He is survived by his sister, Ethel Morand of Eldorado Hills, CA and several nieces and nephews. Services and interment will be in Chicago, IL.
