Shirley L. Laemont, 76, of Eustis, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016. Born in Dillon, South Carolina, she moved to Eustis in 1988 having lived in Virginia, Illinois, Michigan and Pennsylvania. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother and the coolest great-grandmother anyone could have ever had. Shirley is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dan Laemont, Eustis, FL; son, Keith Laemont, Pittsboro, NC; daughter, Laura Zimmerman, Newborn, GA; 4 brothers, Tommy Herring, Chesapeake, VA, Johnny Herring, Bedford, VA, Frankie Herring, Chesapeake, VA, Paul Herring, Norfolk, VA; sister, JoAnn Boyles, Norfolk, VA; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
