Sharon Davidson Tanner, 75, of Leesburg, Florida, peacefully passed away on April 1, 2025. Born in Gaffney, South Carolina, Sharon moved to Central Florida in 1988 from Macon, Georgia. A dedicated educator, she served as an Elementary School Principal in several schools throughout Orange and Seminole counties before her well-deserved retirement. Sharon had a passion for music, particularly for playing the bagpipe, which brought joy to many. She was also an active and cherished member of St. Stephen's Orthodox Anglican Church in Eustis, Florida, where she made lasting connections with her community. Sharon is survived by her daughters, Cameron (Louis) Pucci of Jacksonville, FL; Ashley Hamrick of Eustis, FL; Jaime (Tim) Slavik of Oviedo, FL; and Cayce Tanner of Eustis, FL. She is also remembered by her brother, Charles (Debbie) Davidson of Live Oak, FL, her sister, Janice (Ansel) Kennedy of Jacksonville, FL, and her five beloved grandchildren: Jacob, Haleigh, Madison, Ella, and Zayden. A Requiem Mass in celebration of her life will take place at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home in Eustis on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
