Sharon D. Russell, 65, of Altoona, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010. Born in Tarpon Springs, Florida, she was a lifelong resident of Florida, moving to Lake County in the early 1950's. She was a Convenience Store Sales Clerk and was a member of Praise Cathedral Church of God, Eustis. Sharon is survived by her son, Michael Ray Smith, Brewton, AL; daughter, Julia R. Shelton, Altoona, FL; step-son, Earl Russell, Leesburg, FL; step-daughter, Kathy Nachbaur, Eustis, FL; 4 brothers, Thomas Rogers, Mascotte, FL, Jimmy Rogers, Cumming, GA, Jerry Rogers, Umatilla, FL, Matt Rogers, Columbia, SC; 3 sisters, Julia Faye Rogers, Winter Garden, FL, Patricia Judy, Groveland, FL, Mary Jean Sisson, Deland, FL; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip R. Russell; son, Jonathan Lee Moore; daughter, Cynthia Diane Riley. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Empire Baptist Church Cemetery, Mascotte. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 prior to the service from 12:00 Noon till 2:00 PM.
