Sena Hungate

In loving memory of Sena Hungate, who was born October 22, 1936 and peacefully entered her heavenly home on October 29, 2024. She was welcomed by her loving husband, Earl H. Hungate, her beloved daughter, Sharilyn Boykin, her parents George (Georgie) Marenko and Essie Blackburn, siblings Alex Marenko, Mack Marenko and George Marenko, Clifford Marenko and two sisters, Elizabeth Hite, and Betty Jean Blackburn.

It was in WV where she met the love of her life, Earl H. Hungate. She served alongside her husband in ministry for over 40 years, serving multiple states to include, Florida, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Virginia, and West Virginia. She also founded Women2Women Ladies Conference in 1990 and ministered to women for 30 years. She had a heart for God, family, and ministry. She always enjoyed being with her family, friends, and church family. She loved shopping, traveling, and collecting beautiful items from all over the world. 

Sena Hungate is survived by her son Vincent E. Hungate and his wife Allison Hungate, son-in-law Dwayne Boykin, 3 grandchildren, Brooks Hungate (Mary), McKenzie Hungate (Lauren), Madison O’Halloran (Sean) 3 great-grandchildren, Millie & Tommie O’Halloran, Church Hungate and baby Hungate, due in December. 

Services will be held on Saturday, November 2, at the Together Church of God 6725 N Socrum Loop Rd. Lakeland, FL 33809. Viewing will commence from 10am-11:30am with service to follow.
