Sebastian “Squish” Morrison was a joyful, hilarious, sweet, beautiful, extraordinary little boy. He loved to spend time playing with his older brothers, Leo and Everett, whom he called “Eo and the boy,” hanging out with his nanny and friend, Justyse, whom he lovingly called “Juh Juh,” and snuggling and playing with the dogs, Hope and Birdie, “Ope and Gooey”. Adored by his “Momma and Daddy,” he was a constant source of laughter and delight; often when performing a pirate dance to the “Pirates of the Caribbean” theme wearing only a diaper and a pirate hat, wielding a sword and screaming “YAHHH” at the top of his lungs; or when following behind a complete stranger at a BBQ place saying “yummy yummy!”; or whenever leaving Storytime at the library with Juh-Juh waving goodbye to his “fren” (friends); along with countless other examples. He will continue to spread joy and delight long after his passing in our memories of him and in the ways we have all been changed for the better by knowing him.

A Note from the Parents:
There are moments in life that have no words because they are simply too unimaginable to garner description. We are currently living in the unimaginable. Thursday morning started like any other day and ended with Barton and I singing our sweet baby into the arms of Jesus. We don’t understand His timing and we are praying daily for His peace, grace, mercy, love and healing of our hearts. We know Sebastian is currently in the glory of God experiencing the fullness of joy (also probably wearing a pirate hat and rain boots while eating a lollipop) but we still long to hold our precious boy in our arms, our ears long to hear his sweet laughter and our hearts ache for the time we thought we would have with our boy. Please pray for us as we mourn the loss of a piece of our hearts. We love you, Squish. You will always be part of our family, part of our story and more valuable to us than all the stars in the sky. Momma and Daddy can’t wait to see you again in our Heavenly home.
