Scott Thomas Tezak, 23, of Minooka, passed away May 6, 2011. Survived by his daughter Madilynn ; fiancée Samantha Gnatz; parents Jackie and Tom; sister Jill; grandparents Lucy and Jack McDonald; grandmother Inez Tezak; he is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his grandfather Ralph Tezak and his aunt Barb Markelz. Scott had a love for aviation and a passion for skydiving. He had a zest for life and lived every day to the fullest. He graduated from Minooka High School, Minooka, IL in 2006, attended American Flyers in 2007 and received his pilot certifications. He was currently employed as a flight instructor for Blue Sky Aero and Joliet, IL Airport. He was currently attending Lewis University to obtain a degree in aviation administration. In lieu of flowers, donations for his daughter Madilynn would be appreciated. A celebration of Scott’s life will begin on Friday, May 13 at 9:30 with prayers at the Tezak Funeral Home Chapel, Joilet, IL then in procession to St. Mary Church in Minooka for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am.
