Sandra Elaine Hinojosa, 72, of Cassia, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019. Born in Eustis, Florida to the late Henry & Clarice Tanner, she was a lifelong Lake County resident, graduating from Eustis High School, class of 1966. Sandra worked as a nurse and was a 4-H leader throughout the state and stayed very active in the Cassia Community. Sandra was the 1966 Volusia County Cattleman’s Association Sweetheart. She is survived by her husband, Reuben "Butch" Hinojosa of Cassia, FL, daughter, Roper Cox of Skellytown, TX, 2 step-sons, Bruce (Diane) Hinojosa of Spokane, WA, Dwayne (Lynda) Hinojosa of Fond du Lac, WI, brother, Danny (Martha) Tanner of De Kalb, TX, and her 5 grandchildren, Rhoan Cox, Rowdy Cox, Casey Hinojosa, Megan Vinney, Brandon Hinojosa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Clarice Tanner as well as her son-in-law, Ronnie Cox. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Seminole Springs Cemetery, Cassia. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Sunday evening from 5:00 till 7:00 PM.
