Ruth Ford

Ruth Ford, 88, of Fruitland Park, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022. Born in Maypearl, Texas, she moved to Fruitland Park in 2014 from MacClenny, Florida where she lived most of her adult life. She was a pastor's wife for over 50 years, a Sunday School Teacher for over 20 years and was currently a member of Whitney Baptist Church, Leesburg. Ruth is preceded in death by Rev. James Ford, her husband of 52 years. She is survived by her 2 sons, Rev. Larry (Sue) Ford, Augusta, GA, Dr. Randy (Pat) Ford, Fruitland Park, FL; daughter, Debbie (Craig) Cosby, Ringgold, GA; brother, Johnny (Louise) Mathers, Waxahachie, TX; sister, Joyce Harris, Maypearl, TX; 5 grandchildren, Kristy Childers, Michael Ford, Maria Ford, Cole Cosby, Eva Earle; 5 great-grandchildren, James, Ronnie, Adrian, Julian, Alex. Services will be held at Whitney Baptist Church, Leesburg on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 10:30 AM. Interment will be at a later date in Jacksonville, FL.
