Ruth Eleanor Ford, 76, of Mount Dora, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Born in Ithaca, New York, she moved to Central Flordia in 1951 from Genoa, New York. She was a Homemaker and was Presbyterian. Ruth was a certified first responder. She excelled with arts and crafts including county fairs. She was Homemaker of the Year in 1986. After retiring in 1993 she loved traveling the Carolinas. She is survived by her Son, Kenneth Eugene Ford, Ocoee, FL; 2 daughters, Beverly Earline Schoonover, Eustis, FL, Marsha Diane LaBarbera, Mahopac, NY; 3 brothers, Harry Barron, Dryden, NY, Paul Barron, Lansing, NY, James Barron, Lansing, NY; 4 sisters, Harriet Schreier, Titusville, FL, Helen Grant, Trumansburg, NY, Lois Decker, Rockstream, NY, Carol Boles, Lansing, NY; 3 grandchildren, Debra A. Schoonover, Eustis, FL, Scott Atkinson, Sorrento, FL, SPC Jackie E. Schoonover, Ft. Bragg, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. Ford and brother, Robert Barron. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 1:00 PM.
