Have you ever met anyone who has an electric presence and you more than willingly want to be a part of that persons life because they make you feel so special, like there's no one else more important than yourself? Someone who listens, has a radiant smile, who is welcoming and accepting no matter where you come from or who you are? Someone who can befriend anyone within 30 seconds of knowing them? I know someone. She has lived exactly how she has wanted, had done whatever she wanted, no limits, no boundaries. She has lived so freely that most people only dream of living that way. To look at her commands your attention and you cant help but give it. Her red hair, gypsy skirts, beads, scarfs, sandals, and make up always done. People just gravitated towards my mom no matter where on this planet we went. She made you feel good. That was her gift. She was easy to talk to and was always nurturing her friends and family. She was a mom to all, if you were homeless, gay, straight, black, white, purple, blue, green..... you were a part of her rainbow. Were being selfish because we want more of that, much more. She left this world on a day of new beginnings, a day of fireworks and well wishes........that is her.........Enjoy your time with everyone up there Mom. You deserve it. Just make sure to check in on us.

Ruby Louise Salling, 64, of Sorrento, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she moved to Sorrento in 2005 from North Carolina. She was a Homemaker and was of Catholic Faith. Ruby was an Artist that loved to Cook, work on Stain Glass, Glitter and loved Animals. She is survived by Daughters and Sons in Law, Noelle Marie and Dale Bramble of Lithia, FL, Ruby Violet Secret Crystal Tine and Adam Gorby of Sorrento, FL; Son and Daughter in Law - Fred and Sarah Salling of Durham, CT; Mother, Ruby Ann Reilly of West Palm Beach, FL; Brother, Ed Reilly of Newington, CT; Sister, Marie Montalbano of West Palm Beach, FL; Grandchildren, Clover Harvey, Donovan, Dylan and Azalea Bramble and Baby Salling expecting.
