Ronald L. Abbey

Ronald L. Abbey, 100, of Tavares, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022. Born in London, England, he moved to Tavares in 1980 from Scarsdale, New York. He was a District Sales Manager for Metlife Insurance for over 26 years and was a chartered life underwriter. Ronald served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. He is survived by his loving wife of 77 years, Doris L. Abbey of Tavares, FL; daughter, Marilyn L. Abbey of Leesburg, FL. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Christine Lilian Abbey.
