Roger E. Roberts

Roger E. Roberts, 95, of Mount Dora, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022. Born in Tampa, Florida, he moved to Mount Dora in 1987 from Fairview, Tennessee. He retired from the US Coast Guard as a Master Chief Petty Officer. He served during World War II, Korea and Vietnam. In his retirement, Roger was very active with his church, LifePointe Church of Eustis. He is survived by his 2 sons, Scott Roberts, East Greenwich, RI, Robin Roberts, Lansing, KS; 2 step-sons, Scott Thompson, Lookout Mountain, GA, John Thompson, Ft. Plain, NY; 2 grandsons, Michael Roberts, Scott Roberts; 2 step-grandchildren, Fabien Nascimento, Hannah Thompson. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
