Robert White

Robert White, 83, of Tavares, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2010. Born in Monroe, Michigan, he moved to Tavares in 1988 from North Fort Myers, Florida. He was a Draftsman for General Motors before retiring. Bob was a member of Liberty Baptist Church of Tavares and served in the Army during World War II. Surviving are his wife, Lois J. White of Tavares; sons, Barry White of Milan, MI and Randy White of Venice, FL; daughter, Cheryl Vanwasshanova of Milan, MI; brother, Dick White of Safety Harbor, FL; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778.
