Robert A. "Bob" Hanlon Sr., 74, of Mount Dora, FL, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014. Born in Newark, New Jersey, he moved to Mount Dora in 1995 from North Miami. He was a Detective with the Miami Beach Police Department prior to his retirement. Bob was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Mount Dora, and Fraternal Order of Police and of the Elks Lodge. Bob served in Coast Guard. He was an avid reader loved doing jigsaw puzzles and gardening. He is survived by his Wife, Camille Hanlon, of Mount Dora, FL, Daughter, Kelly (Paul) Behrmann of Davie, FL; Son, Robert (Dana) Hanlon, Jr., of Newnan, GA; Brother, Thomas (Audrey) Hanlon of Port Saint Lucie, FL; Sisters, Eileen (James) Kroeper and Maryann Choffo, both of The Villages, FL; Grandchildren - Kristy Marie Behrmann, Nicole Angela Behrmann and Ryan Paul Behrmann all of Davie, FL. Mass Services will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Mount Dora on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 10:30 AM.
