Robert A. Chabot

Robert A. Chabot, 67, of Tavares, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016. Born in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont, he was raised in Tampa and moved to Lake County in 1994. He was a Truck Driver, was a member of the Moose Lodge and American Legion and was Catholic. Robert served in the US Army during Vietnam. He is survived by his son, Robert A. Chabot, Belleview, FL; 3 daughters, Claudia Thompson, Leesburg, FL, Phyllis Hancock, Swanton, OH, Cynthia Chabot, Deltona, FL; former wife, Marion Chabot, Deltona, FL; brother, Thomas Chabot, Wister, OK; 3 sisters, Julie Wahl, Canton, GA, Doris Harden, Macon, GA, Gloria Jansson, Sebring, FL; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. There will be a memorial service at the AMVETS, Post 2006, 500 North Canal Street, Leesburg, Florida 34748. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
