Robert Lynn "Bob" Callahan, Jr., 75, of Eustis, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022. Born in Middletown, Ohio, he moved to Eustis in 2017 from Bradenton, Florida. He was a General Contractor, was a member of the A.P.B.A. (American Power Boat Association), the Mason Lodge and the Moose Lodge. Bob is survived by his son, Chad Callahan, Eustis, FL; 4 daughters, Amee Callahan, Mount Dora, FL, Kristin Juliao, Miami, FL, Vanessa Wohlers, Nashville, TN, Andrea Brenes, Miami, FL; mother, Dorothy Mae Callahan, Daytona Beach, FL; sister, Tamera Callahan Breshears, Blanchard, OK; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Bob was also blessed with a ‘bother for life” Kenny Dowse and his wife Diane Dowse from Sarasota Fl. Bob’s loyalty to his beloved dogs Maggie Lynn and Sadie Lynn were irreplaceable and a bond for life. Racing was a part of Bob’s life since childhood, starting with the soap box derby races which eventually lead him to racing and winning several titles with the ABPA offshore powerboat racing. Bob’s creative and animated storytelling will live on forever, his humor was always welcomed and enjoyed. Please celebrate his life as he would celebrate you.
