Robert E. Beckstrom, 77, of Leesburg, Florida passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021. Born in Oakes, North Dakota, he moved to Leesburg in 2012 from Chicago, IL. He was a Professor of History and Political Science at Lake Sumter State College, Leesburg prior to his retirement. Robert was of Catholic Faith and attended St. Paul Catholic Church, Leesburg, FL. He is survived by his Sister and Brother-In-Law - Bonnie and Jose Pereira of Eustis, FL; Niece, Nyva Robertson of Mount Dora, FL; Nephew, Mario Pereira of Eustis, FL and by extended family and friends.
