Robert Eugene "Bob" Banta

Robert Eugene "Bob" Banta, 68, of Eustis, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022. Born in Richmond, Indiana to the late Jack Banta and Opal Banta Goode, he has lived locally for over 50 years. He worked as a maintenance manager with mobile homes, was a member of the Fort McCoy Masonic Lodge and First United Methodist Church, Eustis. Bob is survived by his wife, Delores Deen, Eustis, FL; daughter, Kimberly Banta, Weirsdale, FL; 2 step-sons, Guy Eure, Charlotte, NC, Tag Eure, Jupiter, FL; brother, Ronald Banta, Connersville, IN; sister, Jane Banta Dixon, Brookville, IN; 2 grandchildren, Gabriel Eugene Banta, Baylee Banta; 9 step-grandchildren, Sam Eure, Brooke Eure, Kali Rau, Brooke Rau, Tori Sullivan, Joshua Sullivan, Nathan Sullivan, Connor Eure, Anna Eure; step-great-grandchild, Dawsyn Eure. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Banta. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 3:00 PM.
