Rita Swalagin Langfeld Rosenquist, 81, of Tavares, Florida went home to walk with her Lord and Savior on December 31, 2021. She was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on Valentine's Day, to Charles and Rita Swalagin. She graduated from South River High School in New Jersey and Katharine Gibbs in New York City. She married her high school sweetheart; they moved to Pompano Beach and then to Tavares, Florida. They had four children. She was employed in the secretarial field most of her professional life and was a realtor in Pompano Beach. She retired from Lake-Sumter State College after twenty-one years of service. She was of Catholic Faith. She was an avid ballroom dancer and a voracious reader. She is survived by: Donna Hey of Leesburg, Florida (daughter), Dawn Langfeld of Mount Dora, Florida (daughter); Wayne Langfeld of Florida (son), William Langfeld of Florida (son); Spencer (Mollie) Hey of Tavares, Florida (grandson), Tyler Hey of Mount Dora, Florida (grandson); Parker Brady Hey of Tavares, Florida (great grandson); Eileen Saloom of New Jersey (sister), Jean Voorhees of New Jersey (sister); Kenneth Swalagin of Pennsylvania (brother); and numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 2:00 PM till 4:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. (
