Richard Carl Smith, 69, of Eustis, passed away Monday, April 8, 2019. Born in Eustis, Florida, he was a lifelong Eustis resident. Carl was a Staff Sergeant for the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam and Desert Storm. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Joyce E. Smith of Eustis, FL; son, Richard C. Smith, II of Ocoee, FL; 2 daughters, Jennifer L. Hunter of Eustis, FL, Stacy Smith of Umatilla, FL and 7 grandchildren. A celebration gathering will be held at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM with Military Honors at 7:00 PM.
