Richard V. Sable

Richard V. Sable, 96, of Mount Dora,FL, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020. Born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, he moved to Mount Dora in 1986 from Morton Grove, IL. He was a Staff Sergeant in the Army Air Corps during World War II serving from 1942 through 1945 as an Armorer Gunner. He was a P.O.W. during his time of service. Mr Sable was a Life Member of the Golden Triangle VFW Post 8087. He had no surviving relatives. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church of Mount Dora on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 9:00 AM. Internment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
