Richard "Rick" Thomas Giddens

Richard "Rick" Thomas Giddens, 68, of Mount Dora, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019. Born in Orlando, Florida, he was a lifelong resident of Central Florida. He was owner of the former Gypsy Wicker in Orlando and he worked Construction as a Journeymen Plasterer. Rick was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Marine Corp and was proud of his service to his country. Rick loved working with his hands, tinkering, and creating. He is survived by his Wife, Regina Giddens of Mount Dora, FL; Daughter, Diane Giddens Gainey of Orlando, FL; Sons, Eric Lane, Sr. of Clermont, FL, Jarrod Mims of Tennessee, and Lukas Mims of Mount Dora, FL; Grandchildren, Lelah Strickland, Delaney Gainey, Eric Lane Jr., Abryella Lane, and Adam Mims.; Great-Grandson, Rex Strickland; and by numerous extended family and friends. A celebration of life service will be held at the Bedrock Hibiscus Mobile Home Park's Community Club House,1 Hibiscus Avenue, Mount Dora, FL 32757 on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 3:00 PM.
