Richard Owen Johns Sr.

Richard Owen Johns, Sr., 81, of Eustis, loving husband of the late Mary Jane Johns, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he and Mary Jane moved to Eustis in 1988 from Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. He was a mechanic, was a lifetime member of the AMVETS #1992 and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #874 of Eustis. Richard served in the Navy during Vietnam as a Machinist Mate onboard the U.S.S. Forrestal (CV-59). He is survived by 2 sons, Richard O. Johns, Jr. of Chesapeake, VA, Kevin Michael Johns of Jenkintown, PA; 2 brothers William H. Johns of Hatboro, PA, Dennis Lynch of Turnersville, NJ; 2 grandsons (Owen and Andrew) and 2 granddaughters (Katelyn and Madison). He is also survived by his latest love of 5 1/2 years, Caroline Marisola of Eustis, FL.
