Richard "Dick" William Henley

Richard William Henley, 81, of Mount Dora, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, he moved to Mount Dora in 1973. He was a Professor of Environmental Horticulture at the University of Florida prior to his retirement. Dick was a member of the Garden Club of Mount Dora and of the Florida Native Plant Society. He was an Eagle Scout and a Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America. He is predeceased by his wife Adelie Jane Henley. He is survived by his Sons, Mark W. Henley of Boise, ID and Brian Lee Henley of Eustis; and by Grandson, Steven Henley. Services will be held at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM.
