Richard "Dick" Carlson, 92, of Eustis passed away March 18, 2016. He was born January 17, 1924 in Cumberland, MD. Dick served in the Army in Europe during World War II. He operated a restaurant in Ann Arbor, MI and later the banquet services at Fox Hills Golf Club in Plymouth, MI. He retired to Eustis, FL in 1998. He had a life-long interest in trains, he enjoyed walking and hiking, and helping his neighbors. His wife of 58 years, Maxine Carlson, preceded him in death in 2002. Dick is survived by his son, Bruce Carlson (wife Marj), of Honolulu; and daughter, Shila Feipel (husband Larry); and grandson Christian Feipel, of Orlando. A memorial service will be at 10:00am, April 1, at Faith Lutheran Church in Eustis. Memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice Care in Tavares, FL.
