Raymond F. “Cookie” Ross, 75, of Eustis, FL, passed away January 20, 2017. Born in Rutan, Pennsylvania, he moved to Eustis in 1963 from Salem, Ohio. Cookie was a kind and loving family man who enjoyed sports, traveling and special times with his family. He always encouraged his children to do their best, loved working and never tired. Cookie loved life, loved to talk and never met a stranger. He is survived by his wife of 3 years, Xintia M. Ross; sons, Raymond F. “Chip” Ross, II (Lisa) and Robert “Robbie” Ross (Lori); step-son, Kelvyn Mora; step-daughter, Melba Mora; in-laws, Cesar and Melba Mora; grandchildren, Joshua Ross, Jaime Rosalez (Mickey), Brandon Ross, Maggie Ross and Robyn Ross. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Wanda H. Ross and parents, Rodney Frank and Wilda (McCracken) Ross. Services will be held at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 7:30 PM. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00 - 7:30 PM.
