Raymond M. Zelina

Raymond M. Zelina, 85, of Leesburg, FL passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Born in Cleveland, OH, he moved to Leesburg in 2005 from Key Largo, Florida. He was a Master Sergeant in the US Army, serving in WWII & Korea. He was a member of the 10th Mountain Group, SE Chapter of the A05, Vice President of the Mid-Florida Lakes Computer Club and loved playing chess at Strawberries in downtown Eustis. He formerly worked as a circulation supervisor for the St. Petersburg Times and as an editor with the Fort Drum, NY Blizzard. He is survived by wife, Carol R. Zelina of Leesburg, FL; 2 sons, Michael (Ludmila) Zelina of Virginia, Kevin Freeland of Minneapolis, MN; daughter, Terrie (Scott) Barr of High Springs, FL; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
