R. Christian Newton. Youth minister and computer programmer passed from our arms into his heavenly Father's arms Tuesday, January 18, age 51. He is survived by his wife, Christine, children: William, Emily, Isaac, Mary and brother, Douglas. Born in Mass., he moved to Kissimmee then Mount Dora. Visitation will be at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis Friday, January 21, 6-8PM. Memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Mount Dora Saturday, January 22, 3PM, reception following at First Baptist Mount Dora. In lieu of flowers, he asked that a donation be made to his passion, the youth of FUMC Mount Dora (352-383-2005). He was a man after God's heart and still resides in ours.
