Philip Lee Kennedy

Philip Lee Kennedy, 78, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born in Portland, Maine to George and Barbara (Mallar) Kennedy and was raised in South Portland. He moved to Florida in 1998 from South Portland, Maine. He was a commercial fisherman and truck driver. Philip enjoyed painting landscapes, hunting, woodworking and of course he loved to fish. Philip is survived by his Wife, Cheryl Kennedy of Leesburg, FL; Sons, Philip Kennedy, Jr., Micheal Kennedy; Daughters, Melissa Kennedy, Tamara Kennedy, Lora Dixon, and Barbara Touchy; Brother Joseph Kennedy; Sisters, Florence Rich, Ann Rodney, Lucille Carr, and Jacqueline Kennedy; 22 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. His older Brother George Kennedy Jr passed away in 2005. A family service will be held in the spring in Maine.
