Patricia Ann Ensley

Patricia Ensley, 76, of Mount Dora, Florida, passed away on October 1, 2024. Born in Akron, Ohio, Patricia moved to Mount Dora in 1990 from Uniontown, Ohio. Her family knew her as Pat but her friends called her Trish. For over 20 years, Patricia dedicated herself to her work as a cashier at the Mount Dora Walmart. Her passions earlier in her life were tent camping, fishing, ceramics and square dancing. Later, to the surprise of many, she enjoyed hunting for a big whitetail deer while enjoying the great outdoors. Baking for others was always a pastime throughout her life. Her spirit of generosity was evident in her commitment to donating blood and helping those in need. She is remembered lovingly by her son, Scott Plasterer (Cheryl) of Carrollton, TX; step-son, Shenandoah Ensley (Cherrie) of Pisgah, AL; and her brother, David Wenhart (Sheila) of Green, OH. Patricia's legacy continues through her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends who will carry her memory in their hearts. Patricia is predeceased by her first husband, Larry Plasterer, her second husband, Bobby Ensley, and her sister, Carlene Anthony. A service to celebrate Patricia’s life will be held at Spirit Life Assembly of God in Eustis on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 6:00 PM, with visitation from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg, Ohio. In honor of Patricia’s memory, the family suggests memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) or invites everyone to consider donating blood in her name.
