Patricia Ann Dowling

Patricia Ann Dowling, 79, of Grand Island, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011. Born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, she moved to Grand Island in 2010 from Waukesha, Wisconsin. She was a Homemaker and was a member of the United States Bowling Congress Hall of Fame. She was an avid card player specializing in Texas Holdem. She loved all sports, especially watching golf. She was fondly known as "O.L." to the members of the Silhouettes Color Guard and Drill Team, who traveled extensively throughout the 1960's and 70's to many competitions. Patricia is survived by her son, Fredrick Dowling, Oconomowoc, WI; 3 daughters, Susan L. Krug, Mount Dora, FL, Paula Turk, Grand Island, FL, Terri Schoenecker, Oconomowoc, WI; brother, Jack Furrer, Dousman, WI; sister, Phyllis Rosenfelder, Sacramento, CA; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
