Opal C. Harry, 92, of Mount Dora, passed away Monday, December 5, 2011. Born in Nobob, Kentucky, she moved to Florida in 2003 from Danville, Illinois. She worked for GE as a winder for over 21 years and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Mount Dora. Opal was the Precinct Committee Woman for the Democratic Party in Danville, IL, was a former member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Danville, IL where she was a member of the Sanctuary Society. Opal is survived by her son, Richard A. (Penelope) Harry, Mount Dora, FL; step-daughter, Diana Cannon of Alabama; 3 sisters, Kathleen Belcher, Summer Shade, KY, Emma Carter, Louisville, KY, Margie Gieske, Louisville, KY; 2 grandchildren, Kevin Harry, Amanda Harry; 3 great-grandchildren, Spencer Harry, Chase Harry, Aubrey Harry. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Orville T. Harry. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Home & Bible School, ATTN: Development Office, 301 W. 13th Ave., Mt.
