Norman John Remington, aged 88, of Sorrento, Florida, peacefully passed away on August 30,2024. Born in Warwick, Rhode Island, he was the cherished son of the late Norman and Esther (Peck) Remington. In 2005, Norman relocated to Sorrento from Coventry, Rhode Island, where he built a life filled with dedication and service. Throughout his career, Norman was an assembly line worker for Stanley Bostitch, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to his profession. Norman served as Military Police in the United States Air Force. His service in the United States Air Force exemplified his dedication to his country. Norman is survived by his loving daughter, Roberta Scannell, of Tavares, Florida. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Claire Cecelia (Gladu) Remington. They will be together once more, as Norman will be laid to rest alongside Claire at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, Rhode Island.
